This first one is a face shot. He's looking right at the camera. You can see eye sockets, a big forehead and the nasal bone. (something out of a M Night Shyamalan movie I'm thinkin')

This is an upside down profile. What you are seeing is the baby boy's spine. He is facing downward and his head is to the left of the picture.

These are his little feet right in the middle of the picture. He had them crossed at the ankles, very tightly and was pushing on my tummy on the right side.

This next shot is a classic boy picture. The tech was checking all the things she has to look for in an ultrasound, the measurements and things. She worked her way from the top of the head, down to the spine, to the abdomen, to the legs. When we got to the legs, she saw that his legs were crossed at the ankles, pretty much closed and she couldn't see what he was (boy or girl parts that is); but not only because his legs were crossed, but also, his little fist was holding his little parts. Now we didn't know it was a boy at this point, but I was sure that it had to be a boy, little dainty girls don't hold onto their va-jay-jays, even in the womb; but on the other hand, boys do that all the time, no mercy. So that's when my "motherly instinct" as they call it, took a one-eighty, and I knew that it was a boy.
So in this picture you can see the femur bones of the upper leg and in between is my little man's fist, already a boy by the book. I love it.

Wow! This is all so real! Last night mom's friend gave us a cradle to borrow (so grateful for her generosity!) that is sitting in our living room until we need it later. It's becoming all so real!!
I stayed home from work today and yesterday with a head cold, praying it doesn't develop into my chest and it all goes away soon, and had alot of time on my hands. I started little man's scrapbook (I finished some pages showing him what life was like before he came around -- I totally missed scrapbooking!, haven't really done it since high school) and I completed his registry on babiesrus.com. Picking out furniture and curtains and baskets and bibs and bottles and strollers and cribs, man that makes it all real! I am really getting excited about completing our little family with another number one man to add to my life! I am so in love with my baby daddy that I can't wait to be a parent with him!!
