Mommy and Daddy went to the doctor today. Mommy is gaining weight well, I finally got her over the 200 pound mark, she's thrilled. Daddy was disappointed that they didn't get to see me on an ultrasound...maybe next time. I am growing just fine the doctor said, I have a good heartbeat.
From now on at the doctor's appointments, Dr Lora will measure Mommy's tummy, from the bottom to the top of my little warm, cozy home. Today the measurement was 23 centimeters and I am 23 weeks along!! (The doctor says that it's normal to have the measurement be the exact week we are along).
Mommy and Daddy are signing up for all those fun classes to learn how to take care of me when I get here...they're taking a birthing class, an infant CPR class, a breastfeeding class (and for some reason, Daddy won't go to this one), and an infant care class to learn how to bathe me and feed me and take my temperature and everything! They are so excited!!
Mommy says that my favorite thing to do is to tug on the only toy I have in here...the cord. I also like to dance on her bladder. She loves it. Haha. I always kick in the same place, below the belly button and a little to the left, it's what I prefer. I kicked Daddy today really hard when he pushed on Mommy's belly; I like making him smile. He talks to me all the time, I'm pretty sure it's soothing because it always puts me to sleep!
